CoreLogic: May 2023 Single-Family Rental Index
The CoreLogic SFRI is a monthly tracker of single-family rents. The SFRI includes rent price trends across a few different criteria and geographies. Rent price trends are reported across the 20 largest SFR markets. Additionally, CoreLogic offers rent price data for units across various price points and product styles (attached vs. detached).

Provides national and regional data on the number of new housing units authorized by building permits; authorized, but not started; started; under construction; and completed.
Census Bureau: New Residential Sales
Provides national and regional data on the number of new single-family houses sold and for sale. It also provides national data on median and average prices, the number of houses sold and for sale by stage of construction, and other statistics.
DBRS Morningstar: June 2023 Single-Family Rental Research Performance Summary Report
The monthly Performance Summary report provides property-level performance information for all DBRS Morningstar-rated single-family rental transactions as of the distribution date. The report contains data on occupancy, rent growth, renewals and other pertinent metrics for SFR properties.
Census Bureau: Construction Spending
The Value of Construction Put in Place Survey (VIP) provides monthly estimates of the total dollar value of construction work done in the U.S. The United States Code, Title 13, authorizes this program. The survey covers construction work done each month on new structures or improvements to existing structures for private and public sectors.
Chandan Economics-RentRedi: August 2023 SFR Rent Collections
Single-Family Rent Collections are tracked as part of the Chandan Economics-RentRedi Independent Landlord Rental Performance Report. The SFR rent tracker covers unit-level performance trends, detailing on-time, late, and unpaid payment rates. Rental collection rates are a real-time indicator of tenant financial health and, by extension, the health of the tenant-owner-lender cyclical cashflow ecosystem.
